According to Education Policy 2009 :
The regional Language are being made compulsory subject in all schools and colleges. Saraiki is an important Language in Pakistan.
Saraiki is also spoken in Jhang, Bakhar , Mandi Bahaudin and Other regions .
Bahauddin Zakriya university Multan and Islamia University have their Saraiki Departments. Bzu & Islamia universities are requested to Start B S Saraiki & Ph.D Saraiki.
1. Bahauddin Zakriya university Multan has Saraiki area Study centre. So It is requested that in this centre M.A , B.S and M.Phil in following subjects be started as soon as possible.
2. Saraiki be made and allowed as medium of instruction and medium of examination of Islamiat compulsory & Pakistan Studies compulsory in MBBS, B.Sc. (Eng), Agriculture & Pharmacy and all other programs. All Master Programs in Social Sciences and Arts be allowed in Saraiki also in B Z U, Islamia, women Multan , women Bahawalpur, Gomal and Sargodh university.

3. For internet and computers Uni code for Saraiki has been approved in 2006. Due to lack of interest of Saraiki departments and Vice chancellors, in windows, Google and emails Saraiki language is not included These windows , Google , Yahoo and others be requested to add Saraiki.
Kindly in women university Multn , university of Sargodha, University of Gujrat and University of Faisalabad Saraiki Departments be established and MA and B.S saraiki be started.
KhyberPukhtoonkha Text Book Board Peshawar has prepared currlculum for saraiki compulsory from grade 1 upto F.A/ F.Sc. grade 12. So this may be consulted also. It is requested Saraiki for Matric be introduced in this year. For this syllabus and book be prepared. So experts from Bise Multan, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi khan, Sahiwal, D I Khan and Federal Board Islamabad be consulted for Book and Syllabus as soon as possible.
